Exactly.

The US is once again fighting on the side of al Qaeda.

May God have mercy on our souls.

Tomorrow RUSSIA!

Rather confusing that the US, Britain, etc would blitz Libya and support human trafficking Islamic militant rebels when Gadaffi was playing ball signing oil contracts, working to stop illegal immigrants from Africa coming into Europe via Italy and even signing on to the rendition torture program.

The way I see it as like Yugoslavia was used as a base and transit point to support jihadists in Chechnya and the North Caucasus Libya is now being used as a transit point and base to use Islamic militants to destabilise Africa given that it is right next door to Sudan (remember the illegal Ukrainian weapons headed for Sudan seized by Somali pirates?) with the goal of cutting of vital energy sources and partnerships as an energy supplier of African states to the Chinese in exchange for Chinese development of there countries.
This is how they plan to control China by controlling the world’s energy sources it needs to power its economy.

Rothschild’s son Nathanial is planning to create one of the worlds largest coal mining industries so he can import it into China making likely billions of dollars in profit.

I wonder if the rebels have hired the services of Ruder and Finn like the Bosnians and Chechens.

Will the magic number of 100,000 + killed make an appearance?

@Eugene Costa

You forgot Afghanistan 1979 and 2001 (96 if you count covert war establishing the Taliban).

Somebody pointed out that there is a pagan holiday of war in the middle of March. The people who launch these wars are highly ritualistic, satanically so in fact, observing all these days religiously. They also seem to favor dates like 03/03/03 (the bombing in Madrid) or 08/08/08 (the war in the Caucasus).

And, yes, if you are not supporting al Qaeda these days, you are unpatriotic. Of course, one month from now they will say, "Oh my, there is al Qaeda in Libya, we have to do something about it". That's how stupid they think we are, and I am afraid they are right.

Afghanistan not forgot but deliberately left out to underline a parallel pattern.

1986 was a most interesting year, however, including a "Bin Laden" (like an "Abu Nidal", whatever that might be) supposedly purchasing arms in Britain, and Russian arms through "Croatian" channels.

The estimable Suvorov also makes an intriguing point.

The present bombing of Libya was eight years to the day of the first British (and Coalition) bombing of Iraq on March 18, 2003, and twelve years to the week of the first British (and NATO) bombing of Yugoslavia on March 24, 1999.

It is almost as if there is a hidden calendar involved, more perduring than Mrs. Reagan's astrologer, and much more precise than Thucydides' winter and summer seasons.

Not altogether impertinent is that these were also the days of Mrs. Thatcher's and General Pinochet's cozy teas together, after having earlier secretly colluded during the war in the Malvinas.

As for the French, there was the bombing raid on Libya's Ouadi Doum airfield on February 16, 1986.

The occult, of course, may influence as much by manipulating the latent superstitions of an enemy as by any actual efficacy, so one is not quite ready to rush to review the works of the British magician, astrologer, and putative intelligence agent for the Crown, John Dee.

Still, isn't there a "Royal Wedding" in the works? Were this or that "government" still using such a "chronologick" because of its own secret superstitions, that might be useful to know.

How many in the old Soviet KGB, for example, knew about the Reagan astrologer, and, if they knew, considered it useful knowledge?

But this just skims the surface.

Note the following:

"Former U.S. Rep. Curt Weldon said he is set to meet with Moammar Gadhafi on Wednesday in an attempt to persuade Libya's embattled ruler to step down.

Weldon will also meet Wednesday with Libyan Deputy Foreign Minister Khalid Khaim, the Republican from Pennsylvania told CNN on Wednesday [April 5, 2011]

Weldon told CNN that in addition to Gadhafi stepping down, he is proposing a cease-fire on both sides; a withdrawal of government forces from key cities; no further advances by rebel forces; a joint interim government run by Libya's current prime minister and the an opposition leader; unfettered humanitarian access; and the establishment of a parliamentary commission that would include American, Middle Eastern, European and African politicians helping to establish a new parliament in Libya."

One is sure you are penetrating enough to see what the pattern here is, to wit, if one may coin a new verb in English, the US and NATO, having failed militarily as they did in Yugoslavia, are now trying "to milosevic" Libya and Col. Gaddafi.

More on the chronological coincidences, so:

1986 Chernobyl
1986 Reagan attacks Libya

2011 Fukushima
2011 Obama attacks Libya.

One almost is inclined to wonder whether there is a Royal Astrologer somewhere scheduling events for the Anglo-American Empire who swears by the iron concordance, "Nuclear disaster, time to attack Libya."

After Luke, “Ask, and you shall receive”, or even closer perhaps the old Chinese proverb, “Mention Tsao-Tsao and Tsao-Tsao appears”.

Having coined “to milosevic” as a matter of pattern just the other day, one notes that Carla Del Ponte hastens to confirm:

http://www.swissinfo.ch/eng/politics/Del_Ponte_says_Gaddafi_s_fate_not_negotiable.html?cid=29931106

“This is not the first time that people have said they want to obtain peace at the detriment of justice,” Ms. Del Ponte is reported to have said in Geneva, and then mentioned President Slobodan Milosevic, whom Ms. Del Ponte, among others, railroaded at the Hague.

Ms. Del Ponte did not have the style or inventiveness to turn Serb into verb.

But in the context of history repeating itself, she makes it a hard choice between George Santayana--”Those who cannot learn from history are doomed to repeat it”, and Karl Marx, “History repeats itself, first as tragedy, second as farce.”

One is tempted to coin the verb Del Ponte missed.

If the attack on Yugoslavia by the US and NATO, including the murder of thousands of civilians and covering the country in low-level radiation from depleted uranium munitions, was both criminal and a tragedy, the attempt at repeating the tragedy in Libya is looking more and more like farce and a case in which the Empire and its allies may finally be said to be all too justly "serbed."
