False Flag in Kiev

Remember those "Yanukovich" snipers that - suddenly, inexplicably, following months of appeasement and a capitulation to the Empire-backed opposition - supposedly opened fire on the "peaceful protesters", thus providing a pretext for the Maydanists to violently overthrow the government in Kiev?

According to Estonia's FM Urmas Paet, who recently came back from a fact-finding mission in Kiev, the "civil society" representatives he met with have said "all the evidence shows" the snipers who shot Berkut officers and demonstrators were one and the same.

This revelation comes from a phone conversation Paet had with EU ForPolCom Catherine Ashton, which RT says was "reportedly uploaded to the web by officers of Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) loyal to ousted President Viktor Yanukovich who hacked Paet’s and Ashton’s phones."

Here is Paet:
“And second, what was quite disturbing, this same Olga told as well that all the evidence shows that the people who were killed by snipers from both sides, among policemen and then people from the streets, that they were the same snipers killing people from both sides.”
You can listen to the conversation yourself; the part above is around the 8:20 mark.

Now, add that this that a violent "surge" in the protest was announced by EU commissar Jelko Kacin two weeks prior, and that Western officials have declared in advance they would pin any deaths on the government, and you get a pretty clear picture of cui bono.

Unless you're a fan of triple-blind conspiracy theories, like Anne (Sikorski) Applebaum.

It appears to me these rioters get shot at from behind. You can see the shot at the tree, it's coming from behind, also one guy who got shot looks back surprised to his side.
Why did they then hide in the wrong direction if getting shot at from behind, unless of course their own "protesters" were behind them.

The evidence is damning, indeed. But as I just told RT, the politicians invested in "Russia bad, maydanists good" story will not let something so trivial as facts disrupt their narrative.

The question now is, will the public?

70% of the rioters were neo-nazis, 30% were left-wing anarchists.

It makes sense to me for a neo-nazi sniper to kill some of those anarchists and policemen as a false flag attack at the time while Yanukovych was having guests from the EU.

@CubuCoko public is brainwashed and stupid, they are too busy with facebook, whatsapp, celebrity crap, big brother and other sheep like behaviour. They live in lala-land

In other words, trained to have an attention span of a spastic squirrel, yes. But there are still some people out there who dare to notice, and remember further back than yesterday. Some.

@CuboCoko That's nice as a history lesson, by then it will be too late :-(

Agreed. Which is why depending on the public to see the truth is not really a winning strategy for those who seek to make history.

Is this a Nazi salute from Yatsenyuk, the neo-liberal?

I always thought liberals were the successors to nazis, they hide their inner fascist in an outer liberal shell just because liberalism is the current and political correct trend.

Sure looks that way...

The video which clearly shows that snipers were firing from behind, was shown on Russian television several weeks ago. These revelations surface much quicker nowadays than they used to. For example, it was only about two years ago that Lithuania officially completed its investigation into the supposed "KGB" sniper activity in 1991in Vilnius. That incident served as the "official" catalyst for Lithuania's breakaway from USSR. There were also snipers shooting at both sides in October of 1993 in Moscow and, more recently, at the onset of the civil war in Syria. This is one of the oldest tricks in the book: it was used as early as the first Russian revolution of 1905.

The 18th century liberal at least claimed to stand for individual freedom. Nowadays most liberals in fact represent multinational corporations, especially in Eastern Europe, and many of them don't even deny it. That explains this unholy Nazi-liberal alliance. BTW, I don't recall whether it has been pointed out on this forum that these radical organizations such as the "Right Sector" are entirely controlled by the American embassy in Ukraine.

One more observation: I have noticed some time ago that those who like to ridicule "conspiracy theories" the most, usually end up peddling the most incredible and far-fetched of them, when it suites their interests. For example, when the Russian journalist Arkady Mamontov made a film about the British spy stone in Moscow almost a decade ago, he could hear no end to the ridicule from the liberal sector (yes, I used that word for a reason) of the Russian (or not so Russian) society. Mamontov was dubbed a proponent of the "Judeo-Masonic conspiracy theory." When not so long ago Jonathan Powell did confirm that the spy stone did indeed exist, not only was there no apology from those who insulted Mamontov, but a certain Russian-Israeli blogger (one of the leaders of the failed attempt to topple Putin in 2011-12) named Anton Nosik, went as far as claiming that the Russian government payed Powell huge sums of money to make that statement.

I can only find news stories about Abby Martin and Liz Wahl, lashing out at Russia on RT, in western European media and nobody mentioning the leaked phone call.

Those two American anchors from RT, were probably under pressure from relatives/friends and propaganda from mainstream media. Women are social creatures, they are vulnerable to group like behavior as a flock of sheep.

@Suvorov, you mentioned the snipers, the same thing happened in Sarajevo also.
In Europe people are blaming Russia for being the aggressor, for starting a world war, they are so stupid and brainwashed, they are being led by their masters in the government and media into a global war. It´ so sad...

Suvorov,
the exact same methods were applied in the Bosnian war as well.
Also, the argumentation of Anton Nosik is like hearing a replay of all Bosniak-Muslim-Croatian-Albanian but also urban liberal Serbian , anti-Serbian rhetoric ...

Same BS recycled over and over again. I am so surprised the *good* orthodox slavs are such idiots for not finding the antidote after such an exhausting repetition.

The solution is only one :

Collect all ex-Slavic cancer in an isolated prison-island (Britain or smth of similar size?) and let them cry out all day about bad Russians and bad Serbs.

Bob Hope had a joke he told during WWII that went something like this: "I'd like to tell every Nazi in Russia that Crimea doesn't pay."

Words to live by.

He must have been referring to the German prisoners :)

I also saw a cartoon today, when Putin replies to Obama: "Crimea river." (English speakers will understand, the others...)
